From dressing Barbie dolls as a little girl to making a career out of dressing real-life dolls, Doree Walker lives for making everyone around her more beautiful. That’s the inspiration for DOREE, an upscale women’s boutique presenting dresses, premium denim, jewelry, shoes and everything elegant in between. After her reign as Miss Alabama USA, Walker focused on her dream of becoming a boutique owner, and when DOREE opened its doors in 2005, Birmingham became a little prettier.
